Flutterbye Fancy

This cake is pink marble, made for a christening. At each corner is a pink butterfly, with an extended tail piped down the corner.

At the base of each corner is a set of bootees made from pink royal icing.

Round the top edge and sides of the cake is piped with pink picot edging. The centre piece is a baby cradled in the moon, with fairy and star guiding over.

A fairly simple one, but effective none the less.
